Synthesis
I incorporated synthesis in my project in a lot of different ways. The first way I put synthesis in my project was I looked at 4 different counties (China, USA, Mexico, and Canada) child labor laws and I took out the parts I like the most about each one. I then used these parts and created my very own international law over view. I also incorporated synthesis in my project by looking at different organizations that fight against child labor and making my own organization that comes along with a instagram awareness page.
English Portion
For the English portion of my project I looked at China, Mexico, Canada, and the USA's child labor laws. After reading through each law I took out the parts of them I liked and agreed with. Then I made a chart in google docs where I took those parts and put them in my own words and tweeted them just a little bit to fit exactly what I believe in. After that I took all those parts that I liked and created my very own international's law overview. I made a total of three drafts until I was satisfied with the final product.
My International Law
As of January 1, 2021, Internationally any individual under the age of 18 is not permitted to work more than six hours a day, get paid less than minimum wage, or be working in unsafe conditions. Minimum wage fluctuates depending on what country you are in and witch part of the country. Laws may be passed that change minimum wage over time but these rules shall follow and still be respected. Working conditions for minors must be inspected and considered safe and not hazardous. After inspected they must get an SWC (Safe Working Conditions) stamp on the inspection. Conditions such as mining, working with dangerous machinery, making explosives, and other unsafe conditions are not permitted.
In the case of agriculture minors of all ages are allowed to be employed by their parents to work on a farm owned or operated by their parents. But the working conditions must still be inspected and declared as SWC. Minors are not permitted to work any dangerous machinery like lifts, forklifts, and other unsafe machinery. When inspected the inspector will decide if your machinery is safe or not depending on how much it weighs. If the machinery weighs more than 10,000 pounds then it is not considered safe for the minor to operate. If the minor is to operate a machine that is under the 10,000-pound limit they must be trained and know how to operate the machinery in emergency situations.
In a situation where there are family business Minors at age 10 and up are allowed to work with the family and help support the family business. Again these working conditions still must be inspected and considered SWC. they also still must be getting paid at least minimum wage. But if their parents are their employer they are allowed to work 8 hours a day.
If an employer is caught with a miner working under them for less than minimum wage, more than 6 hours a day, or in unsafe working conditions there will be a consequence. If an Employer is caught with a miner that is not getting paid minimum wage theatre company will be shut down temporarily and investigated. When the company gets back up running they will be investigated every six months. If an employer is caught overworking a minor, more than six hours a day. Jail time from 6 months-1 years in jail may be filed. The company will be shut down until the problem is fixed. If the company starts back up again it will be inspected every six months. If an employer is caught working minors in unsafe working conditions consequences include jail time from 1-3 years, fine up to $10,000, and/or business shut down. If an employer is caught committing all three(pay under minimum wage, unsafe working conditions, and working minors over 6 hours a day) then there will be a fine up to $100,000, jail time from 2-5 years, and/or permanent business shut down by the government which they are in.

History Portion
For the History part of my project I started by looking into different child labor organizations like human Rights Watch, U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of International Affairs, and others. I then looked into how they come across on the situation and how they spread awareness. Then I looked into these organizations instagram pages and looked how they made they post most effective and grabbing to their audience. I then went on to create my very own organization on child labor and to spread awareness. I Named it Childs Path and I also created a logo. Then I created 6 post that are meaningful and touching. to see the instagram page child the button that says Instagram at the top of this page.
